Zoo Lights in Columbus with the Bakers...

On Saturday night we went up to see the Bakers in Columbus and went to the zoo. The highlight of the night was definately the merry-go-round and some great chili afterwards.

Its Turkey Day!

Thanksgiving is one of our favorite holidays because the family all comes to our house. We truly enjoy seeing everyone at once especially now since some of our family lives out of state. This year we had Gigi and Grandpa over in the afternoon for a nice lunch with both sets of grandparents. Then for dinner Jennifer, Ken, Halem, Noah, Daniel, Krista, Mike, Mike, and Stephanie all came and joined our family and Grandma and Pappaw for a great dinner. This year there were no kitchen fires and the food was amazing. We also celebrated Trey's first birthday which is coming up on the 29th.

The kids were waiting for Steph and Mike to come in from Chicago all day.

Sophie's Film Debut

This is Sophie's first ever movie! She did all of the writing. All of the filming. And most of the editing. She really loves making movies and is writing several more right now...maybe the next Sofia Coppola?

A new toy...

Thanks to Gigi, our basement has become Grand Central Station... Literally!
The boys LOVE their new train.

Sophie

Sophie came to me really concerned last night. She told me that something had gone really wrong with the Bengals. She looked almost afraid to tell me what it was... When I asked her what it was, she said that she had heard that the "Bengal's offense had exploded in the 2nd half." I reassured her, and told her that was a good thing. She said she knew that all along and was just kidding. So cute I can't stand it.

Buckeyes!

What a season... So good to see them win that game! Troy Smith is one of the classiest college football players I have ever seen.

the latest...

Here is the latest...Sophie had a great report card. It is so strange going from elementary teacher to parent of an elementary student. She is doing so well in school and just loves it. Caleb is inpreschool now and is having a blast. Trey has 6 teeth and we expect his first steps any day. He turns 1 on the 29th! Already!

The big news around here is the birth of Grant and Carrie's baby. Baby Eli was born last week and is doing great.

The other huge news we received is that Mike and Krista are engaged! Congrats guys and welcome to the family Mike!

Tammy is giving some consideration to opening a kids art and yoga studio in downtown Wilmington. And I just got back from a weekend in Chicago with Brad visiting Stephanie, Krista, and the Mike's and seeing the Buckeyes in action. I got to celebrate Krista and Mike's news and see other Mike's band play...all in all a pretty cool weekend.

Here are some recent photos of the fam...
